Cloghan Castle was built over 800 years ago and is now fully refurbished to its current 4 star standard. Located in Loughrea, Co Galway in the west of Ireland, Cloghan Castle provides the opportunity for a self catering holiday with a difference. The winding stair case and large banquet hall complete the Norman atmosphere whilst central heating, telephones and internal and external lighting maintain todays essential facilities. All seven bedrooms are luxuriously furnished with the Tribes room containing the original Norman fireplace and preserved carvings.
Though quiet and tranquil, Cloghan Castle offers a great advantage point from which to enjoy many activities including angling, swimming, tennis, shooting and many more.
